Red Velvet and a Whoopie Pie – A Festive Combo February 11, 2012

Normally I am not one to be all about Valentine’s Day – its one of those holidays that is just meant to make people feel either great or horrible depending on their relationship status….But this year is quite different – I am thankful for my kids and my husband, the fact that we have come as far as we have, the fact that he can still make my stomach flutter at times, and the fact that we can afford to live in this world.  With so many being out of work and others hardly affording to survive…I am loving our little life.  But one thing I always do love to do is bake cute holiday things..I hate that the school insists on everything being store-bought – there are so many negatives to that.  And it means that I get less chances to make the kiddos great yummy holiday inspired treats!!!  So little miss and I will be making these today – we hope you all enjoy them…

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes.
