So today’s recipe is one that I have gone to many many times since finding it – These are the most moist chewy choc chip cookies that I have ever had… And I am forever going to use this recipe and its variations….The kids and the hubby will eat a whole batch of these overnight with no problem….
Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 c. butter softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 (3.4) package instant vanilla pudding
1 tsp vanilla 2 cups choc chips
1 cup walnut(optional)
Preheat oven to 350
In small bowl sift together flour and soda.
In large mixing bowl cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture. Stir in chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased sheets. Bake 12 – 14 minutes – cool on a wire rack – these will seem a little doughy still when you pull them out – that is the way you want them they will finish off on the pan…..
There are many variations to these that we have tried – butterscotch pudding and butterscotch chips chocolate pudding and choc or peanut butter chips , choc pudding with creme de men the chips – really use your imagination and enjoy!!!!!
